The material industry is continuosly evolving and composites are playing more and more of a leading role due to their rather unique characteristics, these allow them to be implemented in all comodity sectors distinguishing themselves particularly in the world of
the construction of vehicles used to travel by sea, land and air.
As far as construction goes, composites main characterstics are:

• high mechanical resistance
• materials are not subject to atmospheric corrosion
• lighter structural weight and volume
• higher velocity capacity equalling the propelling force
• lower fuel consumption
• less pollution.

On the 14-15 of October for the second consecutive year at ModenaFiere there will be a congress with a series of speeches regarding all aspects concerning the construction with composite materials of vehicles.
Together with the area in which the congress will be held, there will also be an exhibition area at disposal of the companies, allowing them to exhibit services, products and tecnologies.
Compositi Expo-Congress will witness the involvement of universities, research centres, laboratories, designers who work in the composites department, companies that produce raw materials, finished and semifinished products, fabrics and technical and reinforcing cloth, machinery used for productive processes and production tecnologies, with the aim of giving a precise identity to this field, that of the construction of vehicles using composite materials, which is still rather submerged.
